Have you ever woke up one morning feeling like there is something going to happen? well I didn’t. It was a day like any other, only one thing I was happier and active, I had an appointment with my dentist that day. Played and make funny faces with kids and had lovely morning chat chat and breakfast with hubby. Off to go after my pumpkins had  jiggly kisses from mummy. Just after passing the small roundabout next to our house, I was driving safely down the street in seconds I was  switching on the radio when I left my head to see a four-wheel drive jumped front of me!! what happened later happened only in seconds. I panicked, lost control on my car, left that side of the road and took other road same driver (seems he panicked as well) left it as well when he saw me going to bang him and again he left the other street after saw another car front of him and left me to hit but I didn’t bang that car or other (confused?!).                                                                                                                                   I hit a sidewalk  then a tree and fall into bottom of the wadi (dry space or patch) . It’s all happened in seconds, I was still in the car when a guy from no where opened my car door and shouted at me: (get out quickly the car may burn while you are inside) I came out and he told me to go as far as I can; well I couldn’t feel my legs at that moment, he brought my phones, he checked the car and kept checking on me, the place become very crowded. At the same time I called my husband and he arrived in short time and he got panic when he saw the car in the bottom, he kept looking for me after finding me he told one lady to take me back to his  car. Police came and investigate. Family members came and took me back home, when I  saw my kids tried to be strong as I can but the whole day I just kept kissing and hugging them, thanking God for his mercy and bless. It’s a gift to still alive and see my kids again.                                                                                                                                          About that guy who helped me I kept asking myself there was no one in the dry area of wadi, and he showed up in no time and I kept looking for him I even asked my husband but it seems like he disappeared, I just wonder who is he?? I just wanted to thank him.                                                                                  Those are photos of the accident:                                                                                  Here where I hit the tree and my car in the bottom.

My sewing machine

Yes last week I bought sewing machine.

Story goes like this, as I mentioned in my post before that I found myself liking to craft and sew; so I start my journey of looking for sewing machine. I was really shocked for the prices that I can’t afford it now (other things in mind) so my journey stopped and wonder if one day I can have one :S

So last week I got call from one of my best sisters, asking if I’m interested in purchasing sewing machine, my answer was definitely yes. I took it; well the price was very reasonable and couldn’t stop thanking her :) it’s a dream came true. I can’t wait to start my lessons and my first project *too excited* hope everything goes right and not complicated. Oh before I forgot here is image of our new family member :)

Rough moment

Recently I discovered that part of me doesn’t like to design and colors only but I found I can go for crafting. Recently I start searching and blogging for craft sites and blogs. I was going to join Sew Crafty Saturday this Saturday but couldn’t.

Why?

few days back my youngest daughter Yara had a cough even with medication and nebulizer did not help. Yesterday she start coughing badly and vomiting. She vomited maybe four times which made us take her to the emergency. We left hospital at 12 am after she stayed under nebulizer processor. Like any other kid, she felt better and she start her adventure round the house with some help from her eldest sister Jana :)

Today was fine we just kept her on nebulizer every six hours which upset her, other than that we are just fine thanks God :)

Eid Mubarak

HapPpy Eid

HapPpy Eid

It has been rough days before Eid and the day of Eid. Three days before Eid my eldest daughter Jana was not feeling well; she had Diarrhea. The day of Eid she started vomiting since morning. We had to admit her to hospital and stayed for 5 hours. But after that day she was like a pony :) and we enjoyed every second of Eid days Al Hamdulilah. I would like to wish lately everyone for Eid and hope you spent lovely time with your family and friends. You can check photo gallery for our lovely Eid photos.

Her first day..

Today my Jana who is 3 years started her first day at school. She was excited and I do :) I’m the one start putting labels at her stuff (sun hat, flask, shoes and bag pack). We left home in normal timing, never though we will stuck in a jam. We were stuck there for almost 25 minutes and the school was not that far from our home errrrgh.

At last we arrived at 08.17 at the beginning I thought it’s vaccination day for kids (silly me)!! they were just stuck to their parents. Mine wanted me to leave as she was very busy with toys doesn’t know what to start with :) couldn’t leave that fast, I wanted to see her sticking on me like any other kid but later her teacher told me ”you should be happy she’s not sticking on you, don’t worry she’s going to be fine” I left with big smile on my face and immediately remembered myself when it was my first day school (well it was different, we use to go government school at 7 years) I saw everyone crying but didn’t bother that much and mom was proud of me :) Didn’t take any photo for today only by cellphone, maybe after getting her uniform.

Cheers

Move Up Day

Yesterday my daughter Jana had a fun day. It was her first day in kindergarten, they call it THE MOVE UP DAY; where teachers meet there students (devils) ;) and kids playing together. At the beginning her arabic teacher gave her puzzle, she finish it and got bored ‘mumy anything else to do?’ then she start doing necklace using shapes and rope, painting and at last cooking in the tiny kitchen :) she remind me of her grandmother (mother in law).

After that teacher made circle with kids and they were all around her. She was explaining what they are going to do in the few months, english teacher joined them and kids start singing along with her, they were happy popping and jumping. They end their day having a lollypop :) My Jana refused to leave the school and I had to warn her ‘I know it’s nice place to play but after one month you are going to attend every single day till you get exhausted and tired from your kindergarten.’

I was just checking their website and honestly I’m glad to put my daughter there http://tssnet.org/

Brother Passed Away

On 13 of May this year my eldest brother passed away. It was a shocking news to the whole family. Early morning my mom was trying to reach me but as usual my cell phone was silent. Then my maid was knocking our room door & saw my husband talking to her. She gave me house phone, no one calls me there ONLY if something really matter, it was my sister in law when I just heard her voice I asked: tell me what happened please tell me. She said: “you know that every one is going to die when it ‘s his time right?!” & I said “Please just tell me please” (breakdown started), “your brother Zuhair” I felt cold & couldn’t cry. “but how??” I said, “by car accidents” she said. I put on my abbaya and scarf and waited for my eldest brother to pass by. In the car I was praying for him, there was silent till we reached the hospital and I start crying: “you all lying he still alive” and brother couldn’t hold his tears.

In the hospital I saw my mother who was in shock not crying but my father was measurable. The ambulance took him home. After he was ready to be taken to the grave, I kept my hand on his chest & start praying for him, it was the most difficult moment in my life. When men took him my mother’s break down started, she said “where are you taking him leave him alone!!” At that moment maybe she remembered the day he was born, she remembered when he was little boy. I wish I spent more time with him, the last time I saw him was when he offered me cleaning my car and he’s really good at that.

People always remember NO PHONE ZONE while you are driving.

Life is about purpose of being alive. So simple.

May Allah bless him and forgive him for all his mistakes. May Allah rest him in Heaven. Ameen.
